Volunteer Program

 

Purpose:

To enhance existing services, and provide services, programs, activities, or events that otherwise would not be possible without the assistance of volunteers. 

A few possibilities for volunteer opportunities:

bullet

Spend one-on-one time with someone at shop or at home.

bullet

Assist in the homes or work areas.

bullet

Play cards, read books, make crafts, go for walks.

bullet

Have lunch with someone – either in the community or at shop.

bullet

Enjoy a night out or attend a sporting event.

bullet

Bring, or prepare a meal at a home.

bullet

Invite someone over for dinner or to go to church.

bullet

Share a cup of coffee and make a new friend.

bullet

Remember someone on their birthday.

        These are just a few ideas – the possibilities are endless!
