Philosophy

People with developmental disabilities must be able to participate in those aspects of life that are most cherished by the society of which they are members.  This involves making informed choices, living in ordinary family settings in ordinary community housing, working at jobs in the community, shopping in community businesses, utilizing generic community services, participation in social, recreational, and leisure time activities, and being included in relationships in which they experience acceptance, respect, and affection.
